117/365 • stitching together

I sat this afternoon and repaired a shoulder of one of my favourite knits.
In the drizzly, grey, autumn afternoon I thought about seasons, and stages in life.
A time to tear, and a time to sew together*

A time to mend, or time to move on from the past.

Always needed is the wisdom to know the difference, and embrace each new season that comes upon us.

Tomorrow, I wash our wool blankets ready for colder nights.
