how does your garden grow?
mine grows in pots and planters near my back door.
there is nothing like fresh herbs - and soon, lots of cherry tomatoes and strawberries!
it is loving all this spring sunshine.

anyone got a good recipe that involves a forrest of parsley?! ;)

  1. beautiful garden! we are watching our little toms and butter beans everyday and sigh over them as they grow bit by bit. we have a parental pride over them! Parsley- well can't go wrong with a good tabouleh. Add to potatoes and white sauce. Pesto it! And you know that if you finely chop parsley and scatter over your dinner, it instantly becomes 'gourmet'- truly that is a fact (hahaha)xx

  2. Hi Em
I love that everyone's got the gardening theme going this week
I make a very simple parsley, tinned tuna and tomato pasta that the kids eat too
Fry up oil and garlic and then add a couple of handfuls of chopped parsley. It will sizzle. Cook for a minute or so then add tinned tomatos and that yummy tinned italian tuna (in oil but not the oil)

  3. Why I think we've all done veggies, herbs and our proud urban gardens this week! loving the look of your plot...resembles mine. i use old wine crates, assorted pots and a little garden section for tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and hopefully strawberries too!

  4. Ditto to the above comments. A bit of sunshine and warmth has everyone, including the plants, feeling happy.

  5. All that green looks just wonderful, the thought of new ripe tomatoes makes my mouth water. How about making tabouli with your's delicious in the lebanese shops make. My favourite is chicken pieces, lettuce, tabouli, tomato slices and a bit of red onion with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce, wrapped up in a bit of lebanese bread..yum!

  6. Yum strawberries! Never had much success growing strawberries!
Seems I've bucked the trend and haven't gone with the gardening theme this week ;)

  7. gorgeous photos! looks like it's all thriving. My link up was very similar :)

  8. Oh, I'm growing capsicum for the first time this year! Can't wait to see little ones popping out! I have heaps of parsley too....why not throw some, and some garlic onto some grilled fish? Yum.

  9. Indeed they do look fresh! How lovely for you all to watch this grow. Popping over from sarah's... hi! x

  10. ooh, just realised your a west-aussie! nice to find them in blog land. And you live close to Rocko? We lived there for the first three years of our married life. Miss the beach and the gorgeous sun sets. Love your blog btw!
